🔒 Account Restrictions & Bans on 4D HYPE: What You Need to Know

We want 4D HYPE to be a fun and safe place for everyone. Sometimes, we have to take action if someone breaks the rules. This could mean banning, restricting, or disabling their account for a while. This guide explains what those actions mean, what happens if your account is affected, and how to appeal if you think we made a mistake.

❓ Why might my 4D HYPE account be restricted or disabled?

🚫Abusive posts or bad behaviour

We may restrict or suspend an account if it has been reported for less serious Terms of Use and Community Content Policy violations.

⏳ How long does an account restriction last for?

An account restriction lasts for 15 days 🗓️.

🚷 What happens when your account is restricted on 4D HYPE?

When your account is restricted, you’ll see a message upon login of the 4D Hype website or app about your restricted status. You’ll also receive a message in your e-mail inbox letting you know the same and the reasoning where applicable and how long it will be. 

While restricted, you’ll lose the ability to post and send messages. If you try to do any of these things, you’ll get a reminder letting you know you’re restricted.  

If you’ve been temporarily restricted, your profile won’t change and others users won’t know that your accounts been restricted. 

• You’ll see a message when you log in.
• You’ll get an email explaining what happened and how long it lasts.
• You can’t post or message anyone.
• If you try, you’ll get a reminder that your account is restricted.
• Your profile will still be visible other users won’t know you're restricted.

⌛ How long does an account disabled penalty last for?

The account disabled penalty lasts for 30 days 🗓️.

📴 What happens when your account is disabled on 4D Hype?

When your account is disabled, you’ll see a message upon login of the 4D Hype website or app about your disabled status. You’ll also receive a message in your e-mail inbox letting you know the same and the reasoning where applicable and how long it will be. 

While disabled, you’ll lose the ability to access the account and all of its features and functions. If you try to do any of these things, you’ll get a reminder letting you know your accounts disabled. 

If you’ve been temporarily disabled, your profile won’t change and others users won’t know that your accounts been disabled. 

📝 Appeal a restricted or disabled account

1. 🔍 Follow the instructions in the message provided in your e-mail inbox or upon login of the 4D Hype website to submit your appeal. 
2. 🗣️ When submitting your appeal, please explain why you think the ban was a mistake.

If you are currently not logged in, or logged in to a 4D Hype account that is not restricted or disabled. Please log out, and log in to your account that is restricted or disabled account in order to submit this request.

⛔ Why might my 4D Hype account be banned?

Learn more about some of the reasons for an account ban: 

🚫Spam: Spammy, or just plain fake accounts will be banned because they introduce security risks for 4D Hype and for everyone using 4D Hype. These types of accounts are against our Terms of Use. Sometimes a real person’s account gets banned by mistake, and in those cases we’ll work with the person to make sure the account unbanned.

🚫Account security at risk: If we suspect an account has been taken over, we may ban it until it can be secured and restored to the account owner in order to reduce potentially malicious activity caused by the account takeover. 

🚫Abusive posts or behaviour: We may ban an account if it has been reported for Terms of Use and Community Content Policy violations.

📵 What happens when your account is banned on 4D Hype?

When your account is banned, you’ll see a message upon login of the 4D Hype website or app about your banned status. You’ll also receive a message in your e-mail inbox letting you know the same and the reasoning where applicable.

While banned, you’ll lose the ability to access the account and all of its features and functions. If you try to do any of these things, you’ll get a reminder letting you know you’re banned. 

If you’ve been permanently banned, your account will not visible to anyone and you’ll lose the ability to access the account and all of its features and functions.

📝 Can I Appeal the Ban?

Yes! If you believe your ban was a mistake or unfair, you can send us an appeal and ask us to look at it again.

Here’s what you need to know:

• You have 180 days (6 months) from the day of the ban to send an appeal.
• If you don’t appeal within 180 days, your account will be deleted permanently.
• If you do appeal, we’ll review it and let you know if we can undo the ban.

📤 Appeal a banned account

2. When submitting your appeal, please explain why you think the ban was a mistake.

Don’t worry you still have options if you’re locked out.

Here’s what you can try:

• Double check you're logging into the banned account, not a different one.

⚠️ Using 4D HYPE to Help Bad Behaviour - Even If It Happens Elsewhere

Using 4D HYPE to plan or support bad behaviour is not allowed even if it happens on other platforms.

For example, if someone uses 4D HYPE to plan a hate campaign and finishes it on another app, their 4D HYPE account can still be banned. Supporting or organising harmful actions, even indirectly, goes against our rules.
